Daniel graduated from RMIT University with a double degree in Applied Clinical Science and Osteopathic Science. With a lifelong love of sport, he then went on to complete a Master's degree at Victoria University specialising in Exercise Rehabilitation.

Daniel’s osteopathic career commenced in Melbourne where he practised at a number of leading clinics. Whilst working as an Osteopath, Daniel pursued his combined interests of medicine and sport and commenced his professional sporting career working in AFL at the Collingwood Football Club at Victoria Park in Abbotsford.

Daniel has now worked in professional sport for over a decade, which has included touring with the New Zealand All Blacks, working as a Sports Scientist at Collingwood Football Club, Head Fitness Coach for Port Adelaide Football Club and Rehabilitation and Sports Science Coordinator/Osteopath at the Brisbane Lions.

This module will focus on exercise prescription and guidance for children and adolescents. There are differing exercise and activity guidelines to consider for children by age and developmental stage. We will consider what these guidelines are and some of the exercise risks and contraindicators applicable to inform your practice.
