The OPEN (Online Pain Education Network), is a new online training program which will help all healthcare professionals build confidence in recognising, assessing and treating pain. Open is fully online, accessible, 20 hours of CPD which is evidence based.

OPEN will give you practical tools and strategies that can be applied to real world settings and support all healthcare professionals working with people living with chronic pain.

OPEN was funded by the federal Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, with support from Sydney University, Curtin University, and the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation.

OPEN is RACGP accredited, endorsed by the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners, and our partners include the Australian College of Nurses, Pain Nurses Australia, Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, Australian Pain Society, Osteopathy Australia, Australian Physiotherapy Association, and endorsed by Chronic Pain Australia, the Pain Foundation and Pain Australia.
