CPD events Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all participants/registrants (you, your organisation, your group) of this event (the event) being organised by Osteopathy Australia (us, our, we, Osteopathy Australia, the event organiser).
By participating in the event, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you register on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the participant is aware of these Terms.
Registration
- CPD event places are allocated according to the date that registration and payment are received by Osteopathy Australia, unless otherwise indicated in the event advertisement. Advice regarding the number of places remaining in any course does not guarantee a place in that course.
- Prior to the commencement of a CPD event, you will receive a tax receipt and any other information relevant to the event. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration, please email [email protected]
- Applicants must register for an event using the processes established by Osteopathy Australia. Registrations and payments must be received by Osteopathy Australia before the advertised close off time for an event.
- No payment will be charged until the registrant has been guaranteed a place in the event.
Payment
- Credit card charges appear as Osteopathy Australia on your card statement. Credit card transactions are processed directly by our Stripe payment platform, which is secure and is PCI DSS complaint gate platform and Osteopathy Australia does not store or transmit your credit card details.
- A ticket cannot be subject to more than one discount. The applicable discount will always be the highest discounted rate.
Refunds & cancellations
- Osteopathy Australia works off a No refunds policy, excluding extenuating circumstances.
- A registrant who wishes to withdraw from an event must do so in writing and notify Osteopathy Australia of their receipt number. Please email [email protected]
- Registrations cancelled 120 days prior to the event will be refunded less a 50% cancellation fee.
- Registrations cancelled within 120 days of the event will receive no refund and a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
- Where an extenuating circumstance has been raised, it will be assessed at the discretion of Osteopathy Australia and will be assessed against individual circumstances.
- Registrants are free to transfer their ticket to another person and Osteopathy Australia must be advised of the name change. If it is a member transferring to a non-member, the price difference must be paid to Osteopathy Australia. Note, the person attending the event is eligible for the accruement of CPD hours, not the person who pays for the event.
- We are not liable for any expenses incurred due to, but not limited to, individual cancellations, variations in the event, postponement or cancellation of the event, or for theft of or damage to belongings.
- Osteopathy Australia reserves the right to cancel an event or course where there is an insufficient number of registrations. Where this is the case, registrants will be refunded the registration cost in full. We will endeavour to give all registrants as much notice as possible, however, in some instances, factors beyond our control may prevent us from giving notice of a course being cancelled within a reasonable amount of time. We will not be responsible for other associated expenses.
- Where the cancellation of an event may occur, on the day an event is scheduled, Osteopathy Australia will strive to inform all registrants as soon as practicably possible. Notification may be given by phone, email or text message.

- Whilst an event is correct at the time of publishing, we reserve the right to make changes to the program, location and/or speakers without prior notice. Such alterations may occasionally be necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any consequential loss arising from such changes.

have your photo taken, please advise a member of Osteopathy Australia.
- By participating in the event, you agree to abide by the Code of Conduct which is available on the Ahpra website. We reserve the right to exclude any person or organisation from participating in the event. In addition, we may remove any person or organisation from the event, onsite and/or online, if we believe, in our sole discretion, that your participation negatively impacts the event or other participants.
Conference program and format
- We reserve the right to change presentation times, days and formats due to technical disruptions, such as audio-visual equipment failures, technician errors, software failures, internet outages, power outages, and the like.
- Where a technical disruption causes a temporary, partial, or complete failure to deliver and broadcast presentations, we will notify you as soon as possible and advise alternative arrangements for you to view the affected presentations. This may include changing the times, days and format, such as a pre-recorded versus a live presentation. If a technical disruption occurs, you will not be eligible for a refund if we change the times, days and format of any or all presentations.
