This course will guide you through what Ahpra/the National Boards' Shared code, the OAIC and specific state/territory laws require of you and how you can meet those requirements confidently.
When an osteopath stops practising, whether permanently, temporarily, or due to selling a clinic, their responsibility to protect patient records does not end. The Osteopathy Board of Australia/Shared Code of conduct requires osteopaths to maintain secure, accessible, and confidential patient records, even after practice closure. These obligations are enforceable under the Shared Code of conduct and privacy legislation.
