These three combined factors of exercise, diet and lifestyle change are a critical first step towards managing obesity, but can often be overlooked due to the complex nature of their application, and the complexity of obesity itself.

As an osteopath, you may already or in future have significant clinical input for patients in this population. It is therefore helpful for all osteopaths to understand general safety principles for risk managing injury rehabilitative exercise for overweight and obese patients.
