The Perrin Technique arrives in Australia
In November 2025, Australia welcomed The Perrin Technique three-day workshop, a comprehensive osteopathic approach developed in 1989, originally for ME/CFS, that aims to manually drain toxins from the cerebrospinal fluid into the lymphatic system.
Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney proudly took their place on the global stage, joining cities such as Beverly Hills, Chicago, New York, Manchester, Cambridge and Berlin as hosts of these internationally recognised workshops.
Practitioners travelled from every Australian state, the ACT, and even Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand, demonstrating the growing dedication within our profession to improving support for people living with ME/chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and long COVID.
Throughout November, more than 90 osteopaths completed the intensive three-day training, strengthening the Australian osteopathic community and expanding access to this specialised whole-body approach.
Members of the public seeking a licensed Perrin Practitioner will soon be able to locate trained osteopaths through Osteopathy Australia’s Find an Osteo search portal. This will help connect individuals experiencing these conditions with practitioners who can support them using this recognised clinical approach.
Osteopathy Australia would like to extend a warm thank you to Olivia McDonald and Amanda Oosterweghel for their support in helping to organise and run this tour.
If you missed out on the Australian Perrin tour, don’t worry , he’s still teaching around the world. You can check his upcoming international workshops here.
