Presenter: Mark Cooray
For any business, small or medium, start-up or established, the most important digital presence you will have is through your website; hence the most valuable digital asset that a business would own is its website. In this webinar, we will be looking at how a business website can be used effectively to promote brand and business activity in the digital ecosystem.
To have a successful digital presence, the platform that we own needs to comply with standards that are recognised by the broader community and governing bodies such as W3C. It is also important that we have authentic content, and text and graphics are in the correct format so that they are accessible and readable for all. We will be looking at the fundamentals of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), and how we can leverage the capability of a well-structured website to promote the business online. Your website needs to have relevant content that will match keywords being used in search engines. By understanding and leveraging the fundamentals of SEO you will be able to make your business visible on popular search engines. We will be looking at how to utilise some available tools to boost website visibility and ranking, and in return get more enquiries, conversations and presence than what you are receiving today.
