The federal election is here

The 2025 Federal Election has been called for Saturday 3 May – and it’s our moment to stand united and ensure osteopathy is front and centre in the minds of decision-makers.

This federal election we are advocating for accessible and affordable care for all Australians by raising the profile of osteopathy.

Osteopathy can assist in addressing critical healthcare issues being faced by Australians, including preventing and managing chronic conditions, reducing unnecessary surgeries, hospital stays and pharmaceutical interventions while helping to ensure timely, cost-effective access to quality healthcare.

We need your help to advocate for a national healthcare system that is patient-centered and promotes true multidisciplinary team care.

International Osteopathic Healthcare Week

International Osteopathic Healthcare Week brings together the global community of osteopaths to celebrate and promote the work of the profession. The aim of this (17-23 April 2023) awareness campaign is to educate patients and the wider public about osteopathy as an allied health profession and how osteopathy can help them to manage their pain, and improve their general health and wellbeing.

National Pain Week

During Pain Awareness Week (24-30 July 2023), Osteopathy Australia is encouraging Australians to learn more about the options available to manage pain relating to musculoskeletal conditions.
