Guild Insurance (Guild) created the content and helped design this eLearning module, as part of their relationship with Osteopathy Australia. The aim of the module is to assist osteopaths understand the importance of communication and the relationship between poor communication and complaints from patients. It has been created using the experience of managing and analysing osteopathic claims for many years.
At the completion of this module, participants should be able to:
Explain the relationship between communication and patient complaints
Demonstrate appropriate and professional communication
Identify areas for improvements in communication
