Research activities

Osteopathy Australia's research activities aim to encourage osteopaths in clinical practice to understand the relevance and value of research and evidence-based medicine, as well as the strategic role it plays in lobbying decision-makers and educating consumers about osteopathy to promote the work of the profession in primary healthcare in Australia.

Looking to promote your research?

We support our members participating in evidence-based research. If you wish to promote your research project, please email our senior research and project officer via seaves@osteopathy.org.au
Please note that your research must have HREC approval before being promoted by Osteopathy Australia.

In the video below, Georgia Ellis, Chair of Osteopathy Australia's Research Committee, explains why research is such a vital part of the association's work.
