These membership types are for osteopaths who are currently practising osteopathy.
Full Membership
You are a qualified osteopath, with a general (practising) AHPRA registration, who graduated more than three years ago and are currently practising osteopathy (in any capacity) more than 16 hours per week. You can advertise your clinic on Find an Osteo.

- Current and sufficient Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Committed to the principles of Continuing Professional Development
- Applicants must complete annual CPD requirements of Osteopathy Board of Australia (OBA)
- $165 join fee applies to a new or re-joining member application
- Osteopathy Australia Membership can be cancelled during a membership cycle, but no refunds are provided
- On application for membership with Osteopathy Australia, you:
- Declare all information submitted to be true and correct
- Accept that membership does not imply a right to practise in Australia
Academic Membership
You are a qualified osteopath with a general (practising) AHPRA registration, working at least 0.6 FTE* as an academic at a tertiary institution in Australia. You can advertise your clinic on Find an Osteo (if applicable).
*(FTE: Full-Time Equivalent is hours worked divided by the number of normal hours worked by a full-time academic staff member and does not apply to casual work or temporary work over a short period of time.)

- Osteopathy Australia membership can be cancelled during a membership cycle, but no refunds are provided
- On application for membership with Osteopathy Australia, you:
- Declare all information submitted to be true and correct

iAcademic membership is restricted to those working at least 0.6 FTE as an academic at a tertiary institution in Australia

Conditions

- Practising osteopathy, in any capacity, up to 16 hours per week maximum
- While a Part Time member, agree to work NO more than 16 hours in any given weeki (working over 16 hrs per week requires Full membership)
- Current and sufficient Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Applicants must provide evidence of their current part-time Professional Indemnity Insurance status in Australia or authorise Osteopathy Australia to contact your insurer directly to confirm your part-time insurance status
- Part-time discounted Guild Insurance policy only available in conjunction with the Part-Time membership, restricted to 16 hours or less each weekii
- Committed to the principles of Continuing Professional Development
- Applicants must complete annual CPD requirements of Osteopathy Board of Australia (OBA)
- $165 join fee applies to a new or re-joining member application

Graduate Membership
You are a qualified osteopath, who graduated less than three years ago, with a general (practising) AHPRA registration or in the process of applying. You can advertise your clinic on Find an Osteo once listed on the AHPRA register.

International Membership
You are a qualified osteopath. However, you are not living or practising osteopathy in Australia. You can advertise your clinic on Find an Osteo (conditions apply).
