We provided feedback on the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards to the Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC).
This survey consisted of a mix of multiple choice, agreement scale and short answer questions.
In this submission, we focused on our recommendations to further strengthen the Aged Care Quality Standards. Our submission provided tangible examples of how DoHAC can best implement our suggestions to ensure collaborative, inclusive and best-practice multidisciplinary care is provided to older Australians.

This document is of use to practising osteopaths, private health insurers, government funding bodies and other stakeholder groups.
We addressed a letter to the Minister for Aged Care, the Minister for Health, and the Chief Allied Health Officer, highlighting the omission of osteopathy from the 'allied health and therapy' service type in the Aged Care Bill 2024 and related service lists. Read more here.
