The team provided feedback to the consultation on the draft Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) via online survey. This was the final round of consultation after previous consultation and stakeholder engagement.
In this feedback, we reiterated that as osteopathy has not been granted an individual unit group (as it falls under the threshold) unit group data will not be as useful as it respresents multiple different professions and so occupation level data must be published more publicly. We also highlight that while we are pleased to be separated from the previous ‘Chiropractors & Osteopaths’ unit group, we have concerns that the new unit group is not representative of the profession.
