Terms and Conditions CPD live events
- CPD event places are allocated according to the date that registration and payment are received by Osteopathy Australia, unless otherwise indicated in the event advertisement. Advice regarding the number of places remaining in any course does not guarantee a place in that course.
- Prior to the commencement of a CPD event, you will receive an acceptance email, a tax receipt and any other information relevant to the event. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration, please contact the contact person listed in the course announcement, otherwise, please email cpd@osteopathy.org.au
- Applicants must register for an event using the processes established by Osteopathy Australia. Registrations and payments must be received by Osteopathy Australia before the advertised close off time for an event.
- No payment will be charged until the registrant has been guaranteed a place in the event.
- Views expressed by guest speakers at Osteopathy Australia CPD events are their own. We disclaim any liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any guest speaker at an event or in any documentation provided by them.
- Whilst an event is correct at the time of publishing, we reserve the right to make changes to the program, location and/or speakers without prior notice. Such alterations may occasionally be necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any consequential loss arising from such changes.
- Osteopathy Australia reserves the right to cancel courses where there is an insufficient number of course registrations. Where this is the case, members will be refunded the registration cost in full. We will endeavour to give all registrants as much notice as possible, however, in some instances, factors beyond our control may prevent us from giving notice of a course being cancelled within a reasonable amount of time. We will not be responsible for other associated expenses.
- Osteopathy Australia strongly recommends that all course participants and lecturers hold current Personal Professional Liability Insurance, particularly if the course includes practical components.
- Whilst there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during an event, we ask that you receive express consent from the event presenter, should you wish to film any of the event on your own device.
- Where an event is being filmed or recorded by Osteopathy Australia, by registering for the event, you consent to your participation possibly being recorded.
- Osteopathy Australia acknowledges and respects the privacy of its members and customers. The information that you provide in this registration is “personal information” as defined by the Privacy Act 1988. This information is being collected for the purpose of processing your registration and keeping you informed about other upcoming events. The intended recipients of the information are Osteopathy Australia and/or service providers engaged by Osteopathy Australia. The provision of this information is voluntary but if this information is not provided, we may be unable to process your registration. You have the right of access to and alteration of personal information concerning yourself in accordance with the Privacy Act. The information is being collected by our association and will be held by Osteopathy Australia. Direct any enquiries you may have in relation to this matter to Osteopathy Australia.

Refunds & Cancellations
- Osteopathy Australia works off a No refunds policy, excluding extenuating circumstances.
- An applicant who wishes to withdraw from an event must do so in writing and notify Osteopathy Australia of their receipt number. Please email cpd@osteopathy.org.au
- A refund, including a 25% cancellation fee, will be processed at the discretion of Osteopathy Australia dependent on individual circumstances.
- Registrants are free to transfer their ticket to another person and Osteopathy Australia must be advised of the name change. If it is a member transferring to a non-member, the price difference must be paid to Osteopathy Australia. Note, the person attending the event is eligible for the accruement of CPD hours, not the person who pays for the event.
- In cases where insufficient event registrations are received, Osteopathy Australia reserves the right to cancel an event and your registration fee will be refunded in full. No administrative charges will apply. Beyond the refund of registration fees, Osteopathy Australia accepts no responsibility for any CPD event postponement or cancellation if circumstances are beyond their control.
- Advice of any known event cancellation will made in writing to each registrant as soon as practicably possible.
- Where a cancellation may occur on the day an event is scheduled, Osteopathy Australia will strive to inform all registrants as soon as practicably possible. Notification may be given by phone, email or text message.
- All details are correct at time of printing as of 1 March 2024 and may be subject to change at any time without notice.
