By posting a job advertisement in 'Job Vacancies', we ask that you keep in mind that this is a public page and agree to the following conditions:
Osteopathy-related positions only: Job listings must be specifically related to osteopathy or roles within the osteopathic field. This includes positions for registered osteopaths, administrative roles within osteopathic practices, or related healthcare positions.
Accurate job information: Provide accurate and complete details about the osteopath position, including the job title, primary responsibilities, required qualifications (including osteopathic licensure or certification), and expected work hours. Be clear about the salary or compensation structure if applicable.
Equal opportunity and non-discrimination: Job postings must be open to all qualified applicants regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Discriminatory language or practices are strictly prohibited.
Clear and professional contact information: Include professional and clear contact information for applicants to reach out regarding the position. Personal contact details (e.g., private email addresses or phone numbers) should not be used. If possible, provide a clinic or practice email, phone number, or website for applicants to submit applications or inquiries.
Compliance with regulations: The job listing must comply with regulations regarding employment, healthcare practices, and professional ethics within osteopathy.
Professional and respectful language: Use clear, professional, and respectful language in the job description. Avoid any discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate language.
Job vacancy duration: Clearly state the duration for which the job position is available, including any application deadlines. Listings will be removed after the four week period if an earlier closing date is not listed.
Direct job listings only: Job vacancies must be posted by the hiring clinic or practice and should not be used for recruitment agencies, third-party services, or general job market advertisements unrelated to osteopathy.
Clear job requirements: Specify the necessary qualifications for the position including professional experience in osteopathy. Highlight any special skills, certifications, or additional training that is required for the role.
Responsibility for content: As the poster of the job listing, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, legality, and integrity of the job description. Osteopathy Australia does not endorse or verify any job opportunities posted and is not liable for the employment practices of the poster.
Right to remove or modify listings: Osteopathy Australia reserves the right to remove, edit, or reject any job listing that does not comply with these rules or is deemed inappropriate for the osteopathic profession.
Reporting violations: If you believe a job listing violates these rules or is misleading, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate, please report it to Osteopathy Australia for review.
These rules ensure that job listings for osteopaths are accurate, professional, and compliant with ethical and legal standards, fostering a respectful and supportive environment for both employers and job seekers in the osteopathic field.
