Aged Care Bill 2024
The association provided feedback to the open consultation on the Aged Care Bill 2024. The Bill was introduced into Parliament on 12 September 2024. Once it is passed into law, the Aged Care Bill 2024 will become the new Aged Care Act.
Our feedback
The feedback we provided was broken down into five main areas of concern, including:
- Osteopathy is omitted from the allied health team
- Subordinate legislation
- Integration with existing schemes
- Definitions of clinical care and quality care
- Training and education
