A diagnostic approach to back pain

Dr Nick Christelis is medical director and co-founder of Pain Specialists Australia, a multidisciplinary pain clinic, that is tier 1 college accredited for pain training.

He holds pain fellowship qualifications in both Australia and the UK.

He is an interventional pain specialist using advance pain control therapies like radiofrequency ablation and neuromodulation, where required, wrapped up in an allied health multidisciplinary team approach.

He completed his specialist training in pain medicine and anaesthesia at London’s Imperial School of Anaesthesia and worked as a pain consultant at The Chelsea & Westminster Hospital before moving to Melbourne to take up leadership appointments at The Alfred Hospital.

Nick now practices full-time within the field of pain medicine at Pain Specialists Australia.
