Presenter: Christie Boucher

All health professionals would understand that communication is an important tool during consultations.  However, have you thought about the fact that patients can and do complain about communication, even when there’s been no poor clinical outcome?  There are two key areas of communication – professional, clinical communication as well as friendly, social communication.  And sadly, both have the potential to land you in hot water with your patients and your regulator.  This session will use the many years of Guild Insurance claims to explore where osteopaths go wrong with their communication and how it can be improved.
