Delegates at the Osteopathy Conference will have the chance to see and hear Elizabeth Howard and Amy Corcoran use a real complex pelvic pain case, seen by the interdisciplinary team at the Women's Health & Research Institute of Australia in Sydney, for this 80 minute interacative workshop.

Workshop learning objectives:

  1. Recognise the key clinical symptoms in the patient history that can indicate nociplastic, neurogenic and visceral pain in the pelvis and perineum
  2. List the key clinical assessment for three common pelvic pain presentations
  3. Use PROMs in your practice to help guide patient diagnosis and management via a team approach
  4. List serious signs and symptoms to look out for (red flags) that require further investigation
  5. Practice true informed consent for an intimate area 
  6. Add new techniques for the pelvic region, suitable for all practitioners
