Join Hans Lindgren for an evidence-informed webinar on functional stabilisation and movement patterns.

Hans Lindgren, one of the world's first chiropractors certified as a DNS practitioner and a current certified DNS instructor, will share his extensive knowledge on incorporating functional stabilisation and movement patterns into training and rehabilitation regimes.

This webinar will cover structured resistance training, addressing the continuum from early rehabilitation to high-level sports performance training. Learn how individual stabilisation patterns can determine appropriate levels of training and the importance of ensuring no exercise exceeds an individual’s stabilisation capacity. Hans will guide the audience through functional breathing patterns and their effects on trunk stability, DNS's connection to developmental kinesiology, joint centration, and functional capacity training.

Learning outcomes:

1. Understand the basic principles of developmental kinesiology.

2. Describe the relationship between early development and locomotor system dysfunction in adulthood.

3. Discuss and demonstrate foundational human movements: support, stepping forward, biomechanics of motor function, verticalisation, and functional joint centration in postural development.

4. Evaluate and address poor respiratory patterns.

5. Assess the spine’s integrated stabilising system using visual and dynamic functional tests.

6. Integrate corrective exercises based on DNS functional tests and developmental positions such as supine, prone, low kneeling, oblique sit, and quadruped global movements.

7. Demonstrate how DNS corrective exercises can be combined with other exercise strategies.

The presenter:

Hans Lindgren received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC), Bournemouth, England in 1984.

As a chiropractor in his native Sweden, Hans wrote articles in B&K, a leading body-building and training magazine, worked as a sports chiropractor for Ulltuna and Lidingö Men's Premier-League Volley-ball teams, was responsible for the post-graduate program for the Swedish Chiropractic Association, and was appointed as a Chiropractic Consultant for the Company Health Care Programs of the Akademiska Hospital and Pharmacia Sweden.

In 1999, Hans was introduced to the Prague School of Rehabilitation and commenced a long and rewarding journey with many of the world's leading rehabilitation specialists. After intensive study, Hans was one of the first chiropractors worldwide to be certified as a DNS Practitioner in 2009 and in 2015, he became a Certified DNS Instructor.
