We currently have a vacancy for a newly graduated or experienced Osteopath to join our team on a contract basis in our Gaythorne practice. You will play a key role in providing high-quality, holistic care to our patients, helping them to manage and reduce their pain through evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation.
-Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify the root causes of pain and devise personalised treatment plans
-Perform a range of osteopathic techniques, including spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapy, and exercise prescription, to alleviate pain and restore function
-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care
-Maintain detailed patient records and provide progress updates to referring practitioners
About You
Along with your strong work ethic and some previous experience you'll have/be:
-A newly graduated student or experienced applicant with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
-Current AHPRA registration as an Osteopath
-Full Australian working rights - essential
-Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and the pathophysiology of pain
-Excellent manual therapy skills and the ability to tailor treatment approaches to individual patient needs
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and educate patients
-Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
-A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
