2024 Final report of the Aged Care Taskforce

The Aged Care Taskforce (the Taskforce) released the Final report of the Aged Care Taskforce in mid-March 2024. This report proposes recommendations “to support an aged care system that is sustainable, fair and facilitates greater innovation in the sector.”

Ahpra guidance on developing professional capabilities

We recently responded to the open consultation on developing professional capabilities. The consultation gave us the opportunity to comment on the period in which documents are reviewed to ensure their currency, the way in which Ahpra conducts consultation processes and the opportunity for shared professional capabilities across all healthcare professions.

Briefing: infant orofacial conditions

Infant orofacial conditions such as tongue tie are complex and require interdisciplinary care. Osteopaths working with infants and their caregivers manage the neuromusculoskeletal implications of orofacial conditions for the neck, head, back and posture.
