SIRA NSW recently held a public consultation on the draft guidelines for the Provision of Relevant Services (Health and Related Services). Osteopathy Australia provided a submission recommending that wording in two sections is more tightly defined to reduce ambiguity and the potential for misuse. This included ensuring that training that SIRA may instruct providers to undertake is relevant to the provision of worker’s compensation care and the type of reviews undertaken are better defined.
