As well as being the CEO of Osteopathy Australia, Antony is the national Chair of Allied Health Professions Australia (a peak alliance of allied health professions in Australia). He studied biological sciences at the Curtin University of Technology in WA, with further postgraduate studies in education and natural resource management. Antony has a diverse career background with senior roles in health, health promotion, health-consumer rights, education and dispute resolution, mainly within the not-for-profit sector.

Katie Beech is our Policy and Advocacy Officer. With a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Tasmania, Katie brings over 15 years of healthcare experience across NSW and Victoria. As a registered nurse, she has worked in various settings, including public and private hospitals, aged care, operating theatres, dermatology and day surgery.

Beyond her healthcare roles, Katie, a former yoga studio owner, blends her expertise with a passion for the mind-body connection and holistic health. She is not only a seasoned healthcare professional but also a versatile creator, illustrator, designer and musician. With a diverse background, Katie is well-equipped to drive policy and advocacy initiatives, bringing a wealth of experience and a multifaceted skill set to our allied health community. 

Dominic honed his learning and development skills whilst he was the Principal and CEO at one of Australia’s oldest business colleges, where he was instrumental in guiding scores of graduates into employment with law firms across Sydney.

Dominic’s educational experiences includes facilitating training for clients such as The Sydney Turf Club, ClubsNSW, The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, Greater Union Cinemas and IGA. Dominic also wrote curriculum for TAFE NSW and the inaugural Club Directors Foundation Masterclass for ClubsNSW.

Dominic has embraced Osteopathy Australia's digital presence, drawing on his instructional designer experience and learner experience credentials from Curtin University and RMIT online. As importantly, Dominic understands the nature of membership-based entities. He was a pivotal part of the team that pioneered smart-card technology in Australia whilst working with a registered club with over 27,000 members.

Dominic is a Fellow of the Commercial Education Society of Australia and served in the Infantry with the 2^nd/17^th Battalion, Royal NSW Regiment with the Australian Army Reserve.

Shamona has over six years of research experience in various areas of anatomy and physiology. She holds a BSc (Hons) and a PhD in neurophysiology from the University of Technology Sydney. She has worked in a variety of fields in clinical and academic research, such as mental health research, neuroscience, and children’s health. Shamona also teaches undergraduate science and postgraduate medical students outside her research.

Sarah is our Digital and Content Specialist. As a skilled communications professional, Sarah promotes the association and its members' work by creating content across all the relevant marketing channels and developing digital campaigns that promote the benefits of osteopathy to the wider public.

After studying for a Bachelor of Business & Administration in Denmark, Sarah first started her career in travel. Since migrating to Australia, she has worked over 4 years in marketing and communications in various sectors such as charities, online education and travel. Sarah is your go-to person for any advice on recent social media trends or content ideas. You may catch her on long walks with her dog, when she's not at work.

Nearing completion of her Bachelor of Business majoring in administration, Katherine is typically the first point of contact for many members of the association. With a background in customer service gained across a variety of business environments ranging from sole traders to multinational conglomerates such as French multinational luxury goods holding and conglomerate LVMH - Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton. Katherine works to support and enhance the member experience at Osteopathy Australia, providing both information and technical solutions to an array of questions and queries. 

Natasha has spent seven years working in corporate general practice holding a variety of roles in clinic and operational management, system implementation and maintenance, and registrar liaison before focusing more on policy and clinical governance. She holds a BA in Development Studies (Macquarie University) and a Master of Science in Environmental Health (Macquarie University) and has continued her studies with the completion of a Graduate Cert in Health Service Management, Safety and Quality (University of Tasmania).

Simone has many years of experience working in membership, database administration and marketing roles in the not-for-profit sector. She undertook further studies during this time, gaining a Cert IV in IT and Database Administration. Before this, Simone helped manage a family business for several years, after migrating from Africa.

Stephanie has over 10 years of experience in the health sector and is an experienced leader with a background and passion for the development of health policy. She has held various roles in the health sector with HealthConsult, eHealth NSW, The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), as well as in Pharmacy and with a private Speech Pathology clients. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Major in Speech and Hearing) from the University of Sydney

Rebekka is responsible for developing communications and marketing strategies to grow awareness of osteopathy, to engage with members and the wider community. After originally studying Classical Studies, Rebekka found her way into communications and marketing in the healthcare sector – FMCG, pharmaceutical, FMCG, advocacy groups, charities, government and private companies. She loves that communications allows you to be both creative and analytical.

Leng has over 15 years’ experience in customer, membership services and management, in a diverse range of organisations including the NRMA, private health funds, telecommunications and hospitality, and has qualifications in management and leadership. In her previous role, Leng managed the daily operations of a contact centre and implemented innovative processes to ensure the seamless functioning of the organisation’s policies.
